Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA)
About The Position
Assists the Anesthesiologist in developing and implementing an anesthesia care plan for a patient. Performs those duties established by rule by the Board of Medicine in any of the following functions while under the direct supervision of an Anesthesiologist who is present in the surgical or obstetrical suite when the procedure is being performed and who is in all instances immediately available to provide assistance and direction to the CAA while anesthesia services are being performed. Medical City Dallas is launching its anesthesia care team model, and we want CAAs who want to help shape it from the ground up, not just fill a slot in an existing machine.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement an anesthesia care plan for a patient.
- Perform duties established by rule by the Board of Medicine.
- Practice at the full scope of your training, including arterial lines, central lines, and regional blocks.
- Work with supervising physicians to build skills.
