About The Position

This is an exciting role in Western Australia within a positive environment that values your expertise. The Certification Officer supports the delivery of engineering solutions by applying developing technical knowledge across the Engineering Product Lifecycle. Working under guidance, the role contributes to technical documentation, risk assessments, stakeholder discussions and the investigation of technical issues, ensuring all work meets required time, cost and quality standards. It also plays a key part in maintaining accurate records, supporting continuous improvement, and upholding safety, compliance and organisational principles.

Requirements

  • Foundational understanding of engineering principles.
  • Experience using basic technical toolsets such as PLM or MRP systems.
  • Relevant technical qualification.
  • Commitment to learning.

  • Ability to take responsibility for delivering own tasks effectively.
  • Value accuracy, safe work practices and professional growth.
  • Hold (or can obtain) the required licences and security clearance to perform the role.
  • Basic understanding applicable Engineering Toolsets (e.g. PLM or MRP systems, design, simulation and analysis software).
  • Technical qualification (certificate or associated degree) in related discipline.
  • Current Motor Vehicle Driver’s Licence.
  • Must either hold, or be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance at the following level; AGSVA Negative Vetting – NV1.
  • Eligibility to obtain an appropriate level of Commonwealth Personnel Security Clearance, as defined in the AGSVA guidelines.
  • Compliance with the US International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the AU Defence Trade Controls Act 2012 will be assessed.
