Korbel Certificate Directors
About The Position
The Josef Korbel School is seeking certificate directors for three graduate certificates: Emerging Technology and National Security (ETNS), Strategic Intelligence (SI), and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The ETNS Director will serve a three-year term from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2029, contingent on program continuation. The SI and CSR Directors will each serve one-year terms from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027. The Certificate Director is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously assessing the certificate curriculum, as well as for student advising and engagement within the program.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the academic advisor for certificate students, including providing guidance on academic and professional goals, demonstrating familiarity with and supporting students through administrative processes, maintaining availability for advising beyond standard office hours, and collaborating with relevant university offices to support student success.
- Coordinate with the Associate Dean for Academic Programs regarding course scheduling, faculty teaching assignments, and ongoing program evaluation and assessment.
