About The Position
Weekly pay. Rotating tasks. 1st shift - 4 x 10 hr shifts. We also have new hire bonuses and quarterly bonuses. You might like working in Alpha's ceramics department! Alpha's ceramics are used in quality checks for dozens of the products you and your family use everyday. (We are considered an essential industry.)
Requirements
- Requires high school diploma or equivalent
- Good communication skills
- No experience necessary. We will train you.
- Lifting up to 30 lbs often and ability to stand, sit, and move around are essential qualities.
Responsibilities
- Follows procedures to maintain compliance with ISO standards
- Inspects and packages ceramic crucibles per procedure
- Operates presses to produce ceramic products
- Inspects greenware for visual defects and uses appropriate calibrated equipment to verify critical dimensions
- Packs crucibles into saggers for firing
- Performs additional duties as requested
