About The Position
Kondex Corporation is looking for a Packager to join the Packaging department. Current openings are on 1st shift, with hours from Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Hours can fluctuate depending on customer requirements and training needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience operating various lift devices such as pallet jack, forklift, etc. is preferred
Responsibilities
- Package customer orders according to requirements
- Read routings and locate products/materials
- Operate various lift devices such as reach truck and pallet jack
- Close orders in computer system
- Adhere to customer planning schedules and shipping preparation
- Perform 5S activities
