About The Position

Columbia Association is seeking part-time ceramic instructors. The ceramic instructor teaches ceramic classes and workshops using demonstrations, hands-on projects and exercises; teach wheel-throwing and hand-building to adults and teens. This candidate will also promote and encourage each student's unique expression of creativity, and provides a welcoming environment.

Requirements

• Education and/or experience in ceramics is required.
• Candidates must be available weekdays, evenings, and/or weekends.
• Candidates must be age 21 or older.
• Candidates must have previous ceramics teaching experience.

Nice To Haves

• Teaching and/or Kiln firing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach ceramic classes and workshops using demonstrations, hands-on projects and exercises.
