Cure is building the AI-native recovery platform for regulated industries. Its intelligent agents engage consumers in natural, personalized conversations, understand the full context of each account, and take the right action to move customers toward resolution. Unlike legacy collections software or scripted chatbots, Cure combines conversational AI, behavioral economics, decision science, compliance frameworks and real-time consumer signals in a system that learns from every interaction. The platform will orchestrate outreach, negotiation, settlement, and financial-wellness pathways across channels, identifying the right engagement and settlement plan for each individual, improving recovery economics while delivering a more empathetic consumer experience.

We are seeking a commercially exceptional CEO and co-founder to build the category-defining AI platform for recovery. This leader will take Cure from company formation through initial product-market validation and seed financing: defining the market wedge, securing lighthouse design partners, shaping the product with customers, recruiting the founding team, and establishing the foundations for rapid enterprise adoption across regulated industries. This is a hands-on company-building role for a leader who sees recovery not as a collections workflow, but as a high-stakes customer-engagement problem ready to be rebuilt around intelligent agents. The right candidate will combine enterprise AI ambition, consumer-finance intuition, product judgment, and commercial credibility with the speed and conviction to create a new category.

Requirements

• Zero-to-one company-building leadership. Demonstrated success as a founder, GM, product leader, or early-stage operator creating a new product, market, or business before the playbook existed.
• Enterprise AI or customer-engagement perspective. Experience building or commercializing AI-native enterprise software, conversational AI, customer experience platforms, decisioning systems, or another product that changed how large organizations operate.
• Enterprise commercial credibility. The ability to engage senior executives, uncover high-value workflows, earn trust in complex organizations, and convert design partnerships into durable, expanding customer relationships.
• AI-native product judgment. Fluency in how agents, models, data, integrations, evaluation, guardrails, and human oversight combine to produce reliable outcomes in consequential workflows; you do not need to be the CTO.
• Consumer-finance and regulatory judgment. Strong instincts for consumer psychology, lending or payments economics, auditability, explainability, consumer protection, and trust. Direct collections-industry experience is not required.
• Founder-level agency and magnetism. Exceptional judgment, speed, resilience, storytelling ability, and product curiosity, with the capacity to attract outstanding people and inspire them to build an ambitious company from zero.

Responsibilities

• Define the category and market wedge. Position Cure as the AI-native engagement and recovery platform for regulated industries, identify the highest-value initial use cases, and translate the larger vision into a focused market-entry strategy.
• Win lighthouse customers. Secure design partnerships with leading lenders, fintech companies, and other regulated enterprises; work directly with executives and operators to turn urgent recovery problems into deployments that can expand.
• Build an AI-native product with customers. Partner with technical and product leaders to create agents that can understand context, reason over account data and policy, personalize conversations, take action across systems, and improve through feedback and evaluation.
• Create a compounding outcomes engine. Establish the data, experimentation, evaluation, and operating loops that improve recovery rates, efficiency, compliance, and consumer experience with every deployment.
• Build the company and category. Recruit the founding team, create a culture of speed and product excellence, and develop a narrative that attracts customers, talent, partners, and investors to Cure's vision.
• Lead the seed financing. Define the product, commercial, and technical milestones that demonstrate category leadership and build the investor process required to fund Cure's next phase, with support from Montauk Capital.
