About The Position

The Centrifuge Mechanic is responsible for performing Solids Control Analysis of equipment and demonstrating a thorough understanding of Solids Control and Vacuum Unit Equipment. This role requires the ability to follow proper service procedures, complete service reports satisfactorily, and communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and co-workers. The mechanic will also be expected to train other employees, maintain a professional attitude, and assist with general labor tasks as needed. Attaining and maintaining NOV WSS Core Training is also a requirement.

Requirements

  • Experience in solids control field or similar mechanical experience, to be able to identify potential mechanical problems.
  • Must be able to pass background check, pre-placement physical, pulmonary function/FIT test and substance abuse testing.
  • Must be able to operate or, be trained to operate a forklift in a safe manner.
  • Must be able to operate or, be trained to operate existing solids control line of equipment and or any new solids control technology introduced to the market.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to satisfactorily perform Solids Control Analysis of equipment.
  • Possess satisfactory knowledge of Solids Control and Vacuum Unit Equipment.
  • Ability to follow proper service procedure.
  • Attain necessary NOV WSS Core Training and maintain annual refresher training.
  • Ability to satisfactorily complete service reports.
  • Ability to communicate with customers, supervisors, and co-workers.
  • Possess satisfactory etiquette and maintain a professional attitude.
  • Ability to successfully train other employees.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to complete general labor tasks as deemed necessary by supervisor.
