About The Position

This role involves performing routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, small engines, and powered equipment. The mechanic will diagnose issues, conduct preventative maintenance, maintain service records, coordinate with vendors, respond to field breakdowns, and ensure a clean and safe shop environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license
Minimum 5 years of hands-on mechanical experience
Ability to complete paperwork and communicate effectively

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles.
Diagnose issues accurately and efficiently.
Maintain and repair small engines and powered equipment (sprayers, spreaders, blowers, etc.).
Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and maintain service schedules.
Maintain detailed service records and documentation.
Coordinate with vendors for specialty repairs or parts ordering as needed.
Respond to field breakdowns when necessary to minimize downtime.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
