About The Position

The Centrifuge Mechanic will be responsible for performing Solids Control Analysis of equipment and possess satisfactory knowledge of Solids Control and Vacuum Unit Equipment. The role requires the ability to follow proper service procedures, complete necessary training, and submit service reports. Communication with customers, supervisors, and co-workers is essential, as is maintaining a professional attitude and etiquette. The mechanic will also train other employees and perform general labor tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience in solids control field or similar mechanical experience, to be able to identify potential mechanical problems.
  • Must be able to pass background check, pre-placement physical, pulmonary function/FIT test and substance abuse testing.
  • Must be able to operate or, be trained to operate a forklift in a safe manner.
  • Must be able to operate or, be trained to operate existing solids control line of equipment and or any new solids control technology introduced to the market.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Solids Control Analysis of equipment.
  • Possess satisfactory knowledge of Solids Control and Vacuum Unit Equipment.
  • Follow proper service procedure.
  • Attain necessary NOV WSS Core Training and maintain annual refresher training.
  • Complete service reports.
  • Communicate with customers, supervisors, and co-workers.
  • Maintain a professional attitude and satisfactory etiquette.
  • Successfully train other employees.
  • Complete general labor tasks as deemed necessary by supervisor.
