About The Position

Zions Bancorporation is seeking a Centralized Wealth Advisor to work with clients across their footprint. This position will be located in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah or Houston, Texas. The role involves profiling clients to understand their goals and provide suitable solutions, making recommendations for various platforms, and answering questions about products and services. The advisor will also service and maintain an existing book of business for small or remote clients, and grow the business through identifying value-added products, acquiring external assets, and developing referrals. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor's degree and some experience with retirement products, general investment matters and developing strong client relationships or other directly related experience.
  • A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
  • Life/Health Insurance License.
  • FINRA Registration: Series 7; Series 66 (or Series 63 & Series 65) required.
  • Working knowledge of client relationships and wealth management products and processes required.
  • Some background in retirement products and general investment matters.
  • Solid investment product knowledge and relationship management skills.
  • Solid interpersonal skills and ability to engage clients in a phone-based relationship.
  • Strong problem resolution, analysis, oral and written communication skills to create relationships with clients.
  • Demonstrated client management and some related sales experience providing financial planning services.
  • Solid computing skills that include working with the Microsoft Office suite and proprietary systems.

Responsibilities

  • Profile clients to better understand their goals and properly provide solutions that best fit the needs of the client.
  • Make recommendations for various platforms and answers questions for products and services offered include asset and risk management, banking, credit, trusts and estates, and possibly investment banking.
  • Service and maintain an existing book of business for small or remote area client relationships.
  • Responsible for growing the book of business through identifying value-added products and services for clients, identifying and acquiring client assets held outside of Enterprise Wealth Management, and developing additional business through referrals.
  • Other duties as assigned.
