About The Position

SSM Health Physical Therapy - Cardinal Glennon is seeking a dynamic Central Scheduler to join their team. The Central Schedulers work with referral sources to ensure that each patient gets scheduled at the appropriate clinic and can receive the best quality care. They make and take calls to patients to get them scheduled at one of their clinics. This role requires exceptional customer service, multitasking skills, computer skills, and adaptability, along with a great phone personality. SSM Health Physical Therapy offers a wide array of outpatient services at multiple locations throughout the St. Louis Metro area, ranging from specific, single therapy services to comprehensive day-long therapy programs. They also offer home health services through SSM Home Care, allowing patients to receive therapy services at home. The goal of rehabilitation for each patient is to achieve a better quality of life, independence, comfort, and maximum mobility.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required
One year in medical office setting that required multi-tasking
Strong computer and customer service skills a must

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of health insurance preferred

Responsibilities

High volume calls - making and taking - to schedule patients for physical therapy
Supports 84+ outpatient physical therapy clinics
Obtain and track authorizations
