About The Position
SSM Health Physical Therapy - Outpatient Division is seeking a dynamic Central Scheduler to join their team. This on-site, full-time role involves working with referral sources and patients to ensure appropriate clinic scheduling for optimal patient care. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service, multitasking, computer skills, and adaptability, with a great phone personality. SSM Health Physical Therapy provides a wide range of outpatient services across multiple St. Louis Metro locations, aiming to improve patients' quality of life, independence, comfort, and mobility.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- One year in medical office setting that required multi-tasking
- Knowledge of health insurance preferred
- Strong computer and customer service skills a must
Responsibilities
- High volume calls - making and taking - to schedule patients for physical therapy
- Supports 84+ outpatient physical therapy clinics
- Obtain and track authorizations
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Multitasking
- Working with dual monitors
- Use of EPIC system
- Working with clinic staff and referral sources
- Ability to explain processes to patients
