About The Position

The Centralized Planning Supervisor oversees the Centralized Planning Team and manages logistics activities related to staffing and service-level agreements (SLAs). The role develops, documents, and improves logistics initiatives to support company goals, and partners with other supervisors to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of logistics planning processes. The supervisor prioritizes projects, delivers planning strategies under strict deadlines, analyzes logistics strategies, and works to address recurring issues that increase costs or reduce service quality. The position also manages external partner relationships, standard operating procedures, forecasting reports and spreadsheets, and day-to-day and strategic operations at the distribution and fulfillment centers. It coordinates inbound and outbound SLAs and communicates risks to leadership, while overseeing employee schedules, assignments, evaluations, compliance, and departmental safety. The role reports to the Senior Centralized Planning Manager and/or Directors for assigned duties.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Motivated team player with a positive attitude and excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to perform in a multitask environment with strong attention to detail and handle new and diverse assignments.
Ability to work effectively with peers, customers, and all levels of leadership.
Advanced knowledge of RMS, WM (Manhattan), QLIK Reporting, MicroStrategy, and Microsoft applications including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Ability to comprehend and follow work instructions to meet productivity and quality standards.
General understanding of retail replenishment fulfillment processes.
Ability to anticipate and solve problems.

Responsibilities

Oversee the Centralized Planning Team and manage logistics activities related to staffing and SLAs.
Develop, document, and improve logistics initiatives to meet company goals in a timely manner.
Partner with other supervisors to develop logistics planning ideas and ensure processes are effective and efficient.
Prioritize projects and deliver planning strategies under strict deadlines.
Analyze logistics-related strategies and address root causes of recurring issues that increase costs or reduce service.
Manage relationships with external partners.
Develop and evaluate standard operating procedures, rules, and processes to improve communication, information transfer, and results.
Update and manage forecasting reports and spreadsheets.
Manage day-to-day and strategic operations at the distribution center and fulfillment center.
Coordinate inbound and outbound SLAs and communicate risks to leadership.
Manage employee schedules, assignments, evaluations, and compliance.
Promote safety within the department and throughout the facility.
Perform other duties assigned by the Senior Centralized Planning Manager and/or Directors.
