About The Position
Yazaki is seeking a Planning Supervisor for its Meknes Plant 1 in Morocco. The role is part of Operational Logistics and involves coordinating customer demand with production and shipping schedules in a manufacturing environment. The supervisor prepares production plans, monitors inventory and output, identifies capacity gaps, manages order changes and urgent demand, and reports planning-related issues.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or equivalent.
- At least 4 years of experience in the same role.
- Experience working with SAP (PP/MM) or other ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret production and demand data.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Good written and spoken command of English and French.
Responsibilities
- Receive and organize customer order forecasts.
- Prepare and release weekly production plans.
- Monitor production and shipping schedules to meet customer requirements.
- Control inventory levels and reduce dead stock.
- Analyze customer orders and identify capacity gaps.
- Coordinate with the Service Center and relevant departments on order changes.
- Manage urgent, pull-forward, and non-forecast orders.
- Monitor WOS, MPS, and related SAP transactions.
- Analyze daily production output and report abnormalities.
- Follow up on rework plans, premium freight documentation, and order fluctuation reports.
