Certified Central Sterile Supply Technician - Full-time - Evenings
About The Position
NewYork-Presbyterian/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, located in Park Slope, is a leading academic health care system committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care. The hospital serves the New York metropolitan area and beyond. This role involves providing sterilization services to various operating rooms and specialized units, including IVF, Labor & Delivery, Endoscopy, and Interventional Cardiology. The Central Sterile Technician will be responsible for the decontamination, cleaning, assembly, packaging, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments and supplies in a safe and cost-effective manner.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) from the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management or certified by the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD)
