About The Position

The Central Station Operator Dispatcher will interact with the company’s customers by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints. The position takes ownership of customer issues and provides complete end-to-end issue resolution by utilizing the resources available. This role is crucial for ensuring the safety and security of our clients by responding to alarms and dispatching emergency services.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Customer service experience required.
  • Excellent communication skills including active listening.
  • Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
  • Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
  • Minimum of six months experience in a customer service industry.
  • Must have a clean background.

Nice To Haves

  • Call Center experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Answer 50 to 150 calls per shift.
  • Take calls involving fire alarms, police, fire, and EMS.
  • Field customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representative’s knowledge, forward to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff.
  • Ensure that appropriate actions are taken to resolve the callers' problems and issues.
  • Maintain customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
  • Adhere to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management.
