At Emergency24 our operations team members are equipped to: Work in a fast paced, high call volume environment Provide a white-gloved experience by providing a higher level of Customer Support while efficiently and accurately responding to high priority alarms such fire related, burglary related, and medically related alarms (and other alarms) We partner with the local authorities to accurately and promptly dispatch across the country to emergency response teams Handle and maintain a high-volume of both inbound and outbound calls with a high degree of urgency and accuracy around the clock- 365 days a year! Accurately monitor alarm systems using our proprietary software and systems to communicate to our customers swiftly Maintain a calm and professional demeanor that allows us to focus and follow all established required dispatch procedures for local and national requirements At Emergency24 we believe that our Operations Team is the bloodline of our business, and as such, we strive to maintain a high retention rate to provide work-life balance for our team members; emphasize a culture that includes respect, team member impact, inclusion, and understanding. Requirements

  • Minimum 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Considerate with excellent customer aptitude
  • EXCELLENT ATTENDANCE
  • Must be able to remain hyper-focused on task at hand with 100% attention to accuracy, detail oriented
  • Must pass integrity and aptitude screening, and sign a confidentiality agreement
  • Passing of the LiveScan Fingerprint with an extensive background check (as required by State of California and industry requirements)
  • Proficient communication skills (verbal, written, and listening)
  • Comfortable with using the computer and multi-line phone IS required (previous use of a soft-phone a plus)
  • Successful completion of required training
  • Previous Customer Service experience (1 year required)

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Emergency or Alarm Dispatching (1 year preferred but NOT required)

Responsibilities

  • Handle and process high volume of inbound/outbound calls that you will be validating, responding to, and dispatching in an accurate manner
  • Sit in a call center setting for the full shift (full time)
  • Follow all policies and procedures in place to maintain data integrity, safety for yourself and others alike
  • Multi-task while maintaining a calm, collective, and professional demeanor
  • Must be able to remain hyper-focused on task at hand with 100% attention to accuracy
