About The Position
Responsible for cleaning, decontaminating, processing, assembling, sterilizing, storing and distributing the medical devices required for patient care in compliance with Infection Control Policies and Procedures. Central Service Technicians provide support to all applicable patient-care areas and offsite locations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Graduation of a Central Service Technician Course is required.
- Successful completion of the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) certification or eligibility/readiness to take the certification is required.
Nice To Haves
- Demonstrated experience, to include internship hours, is preferred.
