About The Position

AVALON HEALTH CARE MANAGEMENT IN SALT LAKE CITY IS SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED MDS NURSE! This position is in office. Avalon is looking for experienced MDS nurses to join their Central MDS team. The central MDS team works out of the corporate office in Salt Lake City and supports facilities throughout the company.

Requirements

• Previous MDS experience required
• Must have a current, active license to practice as an Registered Nurse (RN) in State of practice.
• Must be well-versed in inter-personal communications.
• Must be familiar with the RAI process and Case Management.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Must meet all local health regulation and pass post-employment physical exam if required. This requirement also includes drug screening, criminal background investigation and reference inquiry.

Responsibilities

• Timely MDS completion
• Training
• Participation in the IDT team as directed by the Chief Nursing Officer and the Clinical Reimbursement Specialist.
