About The Position
The Central Intake Coordinator will be responsible for registering Home Health patients for services, obtaining and documenting payer source/verification of insurance/payer source, and obtaining and documenting authorization. This role is also responsible for the initial "Welcome Call" to discuss possible financial responsibilities and explain Home Health Care (HHC) services.
Requirements
- High School diploma
- Home Health care or medical registration experience
- Health care intake or billing/authorization experience
- Phone and computer skills
- Organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities
- Ability to work with all levels of peers and leadership
