Who you are: As a Central Credit Underwriter I your opinion matters. Y ou will be responsible for approving or declining consumer credit requests with underwriting authority of less than $250,00. More than that, this role is about building relationships and providing top-quality service and doing so with integrity, caring, and excellence in mind.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics or equivalent experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to understand cash flow, financial statements, and leverage ratios
• Proficient in Microsoft computer applications

Nice To Haves

• Previous commercial/consumer underwriting experience

Responsibilities

• Approve/decline or make recommendation for alternative financing within established loan authority
• Mentor, train, and coach bankers
• Act as the department liaison
• Perform administrative functions, including preliminary underwriting work on requests outside of lending authority
• Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes
