About The Position

This role is responsible for performing various functions to provide excellent service to customers. Key responsibilities include preparing committee meeting materials, spreading and analyzing financial statements, preparing credit reviews and analyses for commercial credit requests, reviewing legal documents for loan covenants, assisting Credit Officers with special projects, responding to customer inquiries, and adhering to all regulatory compliance guidelines and information security policies. The bank also encourages community development service and volunteerism.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance-related discipline with strong knowledge of accounting.
  • Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheet and word processing software.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares agenda and minutes for committee meetings and uploads them for distribution.
  • Spreads incoming financial statements and assists in maintaining the financial statement tracking database.
  • Scans and/or indexes incoming financial information and performs quality control audits of financial documents.
  • Prepares Credit Reviews on existing relationships, analyzing updated financial statements and other information to assess credit quality and financial condition, and making risk rating recommendations.
  • Prepares analysis on non-complex commercial credit requests, analyzing financial statements and preparing memoranda for loan decisioning, and making risk rating recommendations.
  • Reviews legal documents to ensure loan covenants and other requirements are accurately tracked.
  • Assists Credit Officers with special projects.
  • Responds to a variety of inquiries on commercial banking customers.
  • Performs all duties in accordance with prescribed regulatory compliance guidelines.
  • Protects the confidentiality of non-public customer information (NPCI) and the security of information technology resources, adhering to the Bank’s Acceptable Use Policy, participating in security awareness training, and passing social engineering tests.
  • Encourages participation in community development service and CRA qualified volunteerism.
