About The Position

The Center Supervisor III is responsible for the general and day-to-day operation of a Children’s Services program assuring regulatory and legal compliance with federal, state and local regulations in a center operating seven or more classrooms. This position supervises a center of 12 or more classrooms.

Requirements

BA/BS degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Multicultural Education or Child Development or a related field with at least two years' of experience in an early childhood growth and development setting. A degree is considered related only when it has a minimum of 45 credits in Early Childhood Education and/or Child Development.
MA/MS degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Multicultural Education or Child Development.
21 years or older.
Three years classroom leadership and/ or supervisory experience.
Understanding of, or ability to become familiar with, the State of New Mexico’s Child Care Licensing Regulations and the Head Start Performance Standards.
First Aid and BLS/CPR certifications (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).
Successful completion of an initial post-offer of employment health exam, TB Test, and Criminal Background Checks.
