About The Position

This position involves providing friendly and courteous service to customers. Key responsibilities include stocking, straightening, and rotating product on shelves in various departments such as Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods, and Grocery. The role also includes processing incoming product, sorting damaged goods, operating equipment like hand jacks and balers, and maintaining cleanliness and productivity standards. Training will be provided at the store level.

Requirements

18 years or older to apply
Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job
Must be able to work in a cold environment (-10 to 40 degrees)
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Working on feet entire shift (4-8 hours)
Minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred for Store/Facility Teammates
Minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred for Store Support Center Teammates
Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline)
If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance

Responsibilities

Provide friendly and courteous service to customers
Stock, straighten and rotate product on shelves in Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods., and Grocery Departments
Process incoming product from our warehouse and direct store delivery vendors
Read and understand shelf tags
Sort damaged product for credit
Operate a hand jack, power lift and cardboard baler
Follow company safety guidelines when using cutters, power lifts, and baler
Maintain cleanliness of shelves, displays, backroom, refrigerated cases, cooler and freezer
Maintain company productivity standards
Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of store management
