About The Position

This position involves providing friendly and courteous service to customers. Key responsibilities include stocking, straightening, and rotating product on shelves in various departments such as Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods, and Grocery. The role also entails processing incoming product, understanding shelf tags, sorting damaged goods, and operating equipment like hand jacks, power lifts, and cardboard balers. Adherence to company safety guidelines and maintaining cleanliness of store areas are crucial. The job requires meeting company productivity standards and performing other duties as assigned by store management. Training will be provided at the store level.

Requirements

18 years or older to apply
Open availability, weekends included
Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.
Minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred for Store/Facility Teammates.
Minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred for Store Support Center Teammates.
Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline).
If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly and courteous service to customers
Stock, straighten and rotate product on shelves in Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods., and Grocery Departments.
Process incoming product from our warehouse and direct store delivery vendors
Read and understand shelf tags
Sort damaged product for credit
Operate a hand jack, power lift and cardboard baler
Follow company safety guidelines when using cutters, power lifts, and baler
Maintain cleanliness of shelves, displays, backroom, refrigerated cases, cooler and freezer
Maintain company productivity standards
