About The Position
This position involves providing friendly and courteous service to customers. Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job. Responsibilities include stocking, straightening, and rotating product on shelves in various departments, processing incoming product, and reading shelf tags. The role also requires sorting damaged product for credit, operating equipment like hand jacks and power lifts, and following safety guidelines. Maintaining the cleanliness of shelves, displays, backroom, and refrigerated areas, as well as meeting company productivity standards, are key aspects of the role. Additional duties may be assigned by store management.
Requirements
- 18 years or older to apply
- Regular, reliable attendance
- Ability to stock 50 cases per hour
- Ability to work in a cold environment (-10 to 40 degrees)
- Ability to push loaded two wheeler (average 100-120 pounds)
- Ability to pull a loaded pallet (up to 700 pounds)
- Ability to pull loaded stock truck
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Working on feet entire shift (4-8 hours)
- Minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred for Store/Facility Teammates
- Minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred for Store Support Center Teammates
- Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline)
- Manager approval based on performance if invited for an interview

Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and courteous service to customers
- Stock, straighten and rotate product on shelves in Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods., and Grocery Departments
- Process incoming product from our warehouse and direct store delivery vendors
- Read and understand shelf tags
- Sort damaged product for credit
- Operate a hand jack, power lift and cardboard baler
- Follow company safety guidelines when using cutters, power lifts, and baler
- Maintain cleanliness of shelves, displays, backroom, refrigerated cases, cooler and freezer
- Maintain company productivity standards
