About The Position

The Part-Time Center Associate delivers customer service to retail customers, including business owners, corporate professionals, and families. The role packs and processes shipments for local, national, and international delivery using a variety of carriers, and manages and produces graphics and print orders. The Associate operates copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, laminators, cash registers, and other equipment, and advises customers on products, services, and value options.

Requirements

• At least one year of customer service experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites.
• Good communication and people skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including spelling and math.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Prompt, reliable, and responsible.
• High energy level.
• Able to lift 40 or more pounds.
• Willing and able to work 20 to 30 hours per week across a 7-day work week.
• Friendly, genuinely helpful demeanor and professional appearance.
• Driven to succeed; energetic self-starter, team player, trustworthy, and a fast learner.

Nice To Haves

• One to two years of experience in print production, graphic design, or a related field.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of printing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Understand and fulfill the needs of walk-in customers and telephone and email inquiries.
• Communicate effectively and practice good listening with customers, co-workers, vendors, and leadership.
• Package shipments for safe arrival, including assembling stock boxes, building custom boxes, and cushioning contents appropriately.
• Take ownership of customers’ shipping needs and offer viable solutions.
• Learn product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends.
• Operate equipment, software, and devices expertly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
