About The Position

Spinnaker Oilfield Services, now part of RPC Inc. and merged with Cudd Energy Services, is a leading provider of oilfield primary cementing. Founded in 2014 in El Reno, Oklahoma, the company has experienced rapid growth and is a market leader in the Anadarko basin, with operations expanding to the Delaware basin. This role performs general engineering functions related to oil and gas well services, focusing on safety, quality, and customer interaction.

Requirements

  • General engineering functions related to oil and gas well services.
  • Knowledge of oil field jobs contracted for by the company.
  • Ability to perform job calculations and monitor jobs.
  • Proficiency in preparing post-job reports, executing job designs, pricing, and maintaining quality control.
  • Skill in performing mathematical calculations for oil field stimulation operations.
  • Experience in performing and overseeing Job Quality testing in the lab and at the job site.
  • Ability to operate design and monitoring software.
  • Capability to prepare job proposals and designs.
  • Assistance to District Engineer and/or District Manager in daily operations.
  • Technical sales support to district staff.
  • Willingness to perform general labor as assigned.
  • Must perform safety sensitive functions as defined in the CES Drug and Alcohol Plan.

Responsibilities

  • Champions the company’s H.S.E.&T program in all aspects of work performed to provide quality service in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of the oil field "jobs" contracted for by the company.
  • Interacts with the customer and others at the job site in a manner that is effective and promotes a positive image for the company.
  • Performs job calculations, monitors jobs, prepares post job reports, executes job designs, pricing and maintains quality control.
  • Performs various mathematical calculations as required in oil field stimulation operations.
  • Performs and oversees Job Quality testing in the lab and at the job site.
  • Operates design and monitoring software at the facility and on the job site.
  • Prepares job proposals and designs as required.
  • Assists the District Engineer and/or District Manager in day-to-day operations of the district and provides technical sales support to the district staff.
  • Performs any and all job duties as assigned by supervisory personnel including general labor, as necessary.
  • This position is required to perform safety sensitive functions as defined in the CES Drug and Alcohol Plan.
