About The Position

T-Mobile is seeking a Cell Site Lease Negotiator to join our Real Estate team and help drive down the cost of our nationwide network infrastructure. In this role, you will own lease negotiations across assigned landlord portfolios, handle external vendor relationships, and serve as a key cross-functional partner to Legal, Finance, and Network Engineering teams. As T-Mobile continues to expand its 5G network, this position plays a critical role is scaling our capacity to secure and optimize site agreements while delivering meaningful financial improvements across our lease portfolio. The ideal candidate brings strong negotiation skills, a deep understanding of telecommunications real estate, and the ability to handle competing priorities across a high-volume book of work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 3 years of related experience.
  • Acceptable areas of study include Business, Law, Finance, Technology, Real Estate, or Engineering
  • 4-7 years - Experience in a technology sourcing, site acquisition, legal, or similar role.
  • 4-7 years - Experience managing Business Requirements, Project Plans, Project Schedules and associated project materials in a mid to large size company.

Responsibilities

  • Drafting, negotiating and executing contractual documents including but not limited to cell site lease agreements, lease amendments, statements of work, letter agreements, and purchase orders
  • Handling an assigned landlord portfolio, including proactive outreach, relationship development, and tracking lease milestones such as renewals, expirations, and rent escalations
  • Supplier management - supporting the evolution of supplier management through supplier scorecard development and supplier quarterly business reviews
  • Issue resolution – serving as a T-Mobile point of escalation for sophisticated or stalled negotiations, including situations where third-party vendors require direct employee engagement or landlords require additional intervention to reach agreement
  • Collaborating with Network Engineering, Finance, and Legal teams to align lease terms with technical site requirements and corporate financial objectives
  • Summarize and present business cases and agreements for executive review and approval
