STV is seeking a CEI Project Administrator / Project Engineer to join their growing Transportation team in Pensacola, FL. Requirements

  • For Candidate’s with either their Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management degrees: Minimum of two (2) years of progressive engineering experience on transportation-related construction projects.
  • For personnel without Engineering, Engineering Technology or Construction Management degrees: Eight (8) years of CEI or roadway or bridge construction experience, with two (2) of those years involved in relevant transportation projects.
  • FDOT Advanced MOT (may be obtained within six (6) months from the date of hire under supervision).
  • CTQP Final Estimates Level II (may be obtained within six (6) months from the date of hire under supervision).
  • CTQP Quality Control Manager (Attend and pass the examination) (may be obtained within six (6) months from the date of hire under supervision).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registered in the State of Florida (for CEI Project Engineer).
  • Must obtain endorsement in the State of Florida within six (6) months of Project Notice to Proceed (NTP) if registered in another state (for CEI Project Engineer).

Responsibilities

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Responsible for receiving general instructions on assignments and exercising sound judgment and initiative to resolve work-related issues.
  • Responsible for directing and assigning tasks to both administrative and field personnel, supporting coordination across all phases of the construction project.
  • Responsible for reviewing progress estimates and final estimates for accuracy and compliance throughout the duration of the project.
  • Ability to work independently, anticipate project needs, and collaborate with engineering and construction teams to ensure compliance with project specifications, timelines, and FDOT standards.
  • Capable of maintaining accurate and organized project documentation, including meeting minutes, RFIs, submittals, and field reports.
