About The Position
Barge is looking for a CEI Inspector to perform technical assignments including inspection of utility relocation, roadway construction and bridge construction activities; oversight of contractor daily operations; performing materials sampling and verification testing; plans reading; field surveying and construction engineering computations. Monitor construction progress, verify work completed and assist with construction pay estimates and senior inspector responsibilities.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in construction inspection
- 1 year in roadway and / or bridge construction

- CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level I
- CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I
- CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I
- CTQP Pile Driving Inspection
- CTQP Final Estimates Level I
- FDOT Intermediate MOT
- Florida Stormwater, Erosion and Sediment Control Certification
- Candidates that possess some, but not all, of the above are eligible for employment consideration provided said certifications can be obtained within six months
