About The Position

Luster is recruiting CEI Inspectors at varying skill levels, including CEI Inspector Aid and CEI Inspector I, to provide Construction, Engineering, and Inspection (CEI) services for transportation projects in Georgia. The level offered will depend on the selected finalist’s background and expertise. This is a future-opportunities talent-pool posting rather than a specific currently available project. Applicants may be interviewed in advance of hiring needs, and selected candidates will be added to the talent pool and notified first when project needs arise. The posting covers various counties in Georgia. Training materials will be provided to help candidates obtain required certifications. The listed duties are examples for an Inspector Aid-level finalist. Responsibilities will become more complex, and additional duties may apply, for an Inspector I finalist; details will be discussed with selected candidates. The role includes routine inspections and calculations related to construction processes and materials to verify compliance with construction contracts. Work may take place at project field sites, including remote sites near construction equipment, drilling rigs, explosives, or environmental contamination. Incumbents will be trained to use the equipment necessary for their work. The expected salary range is $35,000–$62,000 per year ($16–$30 per hour). The level of compensation may vary based on factors including experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, education, certifications, licenses, and geographic location. Luster offers a range of benefits, including flexible time off, paid holidays, parental leave, insurance coverage, retirement benefits, professional development, and wellness support.
