About The Position

The CEI Inspection Manager will build the Panhandle CEI business and lead its growth strategy, client relationships, proposals, and project delivery. The role involves winning CEI contracts with FDOT, counties, and cities, managing CEI teams and project administration, and mentoring Project Administrators, Inspectors, and Contract Support Specialists. The position is assigned to the Tallahassee or Panama City, Florida area, supported by the Jacksonville office, and combines field, office, and client-facing work.

Requirements

• 10 or more years of CEI experience, including 5 or more years on FDOT road or bridge projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in the State of Florida.
• Proven business development and proposal success.
• CTQP Final Estimates Level II.
• CTQP Quality Control Manager.
• FDOT Advanced Maintenance of Traffic (MOT).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

• Civil engineering degree.
• Existing FDOT District 3 client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Help win new CEI contracts with FDOT, counties, and cities.
• Build client relationships and lead proposals.
• Manage CEI teams handling contract administration, estimates, EEO compliance, and changes.
• Lead and mentor Project Administrators, Inspectors, and Contract Support Specialists.
• Keep projects on schedule, on budget, and compliant with FDOT requirements.
• Shape the growth strategy for the Panhandle CEI business.
