Requirements

  • High School Diploma or HSE, required
  • B.S. degree in any field, Engineering preferred
  • Excellent troubleshooting abilities
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized work practices
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working alone on projects

Nice To Haves

  • TAB or Clean Room experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Build your technical foundation through the EAB Training Program and maintain progress on the CEC Specialist I Skills Checklist.
  • Perform core TAB (Testing, Adjusting & Balancing) technician duties while developing specialized CEC skills.
  • Learn to certify and test critical environmental equipment, including: Biosafety cabinets, Fume hoods, Laminar airflow workbenches, HEPA filters and HEPA filter banks, Viable and non‑viable sampling, Airflow visualization studies.
  • Verify environmental conditions such as pressure, temperature, humidity, and air change rates.
  • Troubleshoot airflow and pressure issues in critical environments.
  • Properly use, maintain, and care for CEC‑specific testing equipment.
  • Uphold safety standards—serve as the safety representative for your team and ensure all required hazard documentation is completed.
  • Communicate effectively with project team members, including contractors, designers, and owners.
  • Correctly don and doff PPE following site‑specific SOPs and EAB procedures.
