About The Position

This position is responsible for driving sales and rentals of construction equipment and utility agriculture products within a specified territory. The role provides ongoing support to the product distribution channel while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The position also supports contract opportunities, sales negotiations, marketing plans, sales exhibits, and customer and reseller relationships.

Requirements

At least 1 year of sales, service, or parts experience.
Maturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job.
Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
Knowledge of heavy agricultural equipment, including awareness of industry trends, customer needs, and competitor information.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Previous agriculture or construction equipment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain customer satisfaction through organizational skills, account strategies, territory planning, and administrative responsibilities.
Develop and increase sales and rental revenue to meet assigned targets.
Participate in the company’s sales orientation and sales training programs.
Work on contract opportunities and proposals.
Assist with contract negotiations, closing sales, and developing marketing plans for contract accounts.
Assist with planning sales exhibits.
Attend trade shows and community-based functions.
Participate in education and training conferences on selling and marketing programs.
Stay informed about new products, services, and other information of interest to customers.
Monitor competitive activity and develop methods to attain resellers and help resellers gain new accounts.
Troubleshoot problems regarding products provided.
Answer customer questions and handle complaints.
Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
