About The Position

Universal Logistics is seeking skilled Owner/Operator Truck Drivers to join their dynamic team at their terminal in the Charleston, SC area. This position is crucial for the safe and timely delivery of freight across designated routes, contributing to the company's reputation for quality service. Universal Intermodal services all major US Ports and intermodal Rail Ramps, offering domestic door-to-door drayage. They operate from 40 terminals and eight container yards, providing Chassis, Containers, Drayage, and Services for Imports, Exports, and Domestic moves.

Requirements

• 6 months or more of tractor trailer experience in the last year.
• CDL A
• At least 21 years of age
• DOT Compliant
• 2005 or Newer Tractor
• Clean driving record with proven safe-driving history
• No DUI/OWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years
• No more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Pass physical/drug screen
• Criminal background check
