About The Position

Universal Logistics is hiring CDL-A drivers to work in Romulus, Michigan. The position offers competitive hourly pay, consistent year-round freight, and long-term career opportunities. Drivers operate local and regional routes through Michigan, Ohio, and nearby markets, collecting freight at multiple stops. Drivers make approximately five to six stops per day. Start times fall between 3:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with some weekend work required. Gross pay is up to $1,500 per week.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Strong safety record.
• Ability to operate safely and efficiently while complying with all DOT regulations.
• At least six months of tractor-trailer experience or a recent trucking school certificate.

Responsibilities

• Drive local and regional routes throughout Michigan, Ohio, and nearby markets.
• Complete multi-stop collection routes, typically making five to six stops per day.
• Operate safely and efficiently while complying with all DOT regulations.
