CDL Truck Driver
About The Position
Corvant provides specialty HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical services to mission-critical commercial and industrial environments, supporting essential facilities across data centers, healthcare, manufacturing, logistics, and education. We deliver end-to-end solutions across the facility lifecycle. We are currently seeking a CDL truck driver. Home every night! The Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of materials, equipment, and supplies to job sites and other locations. This role ensures accurate delivery documentation, professional representation of the company, and safe vehicle operation at all times.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Valid CDL driver's license required
- Clean driving record required — MVR will be reviewed
- Ability to safely lift, handle, and move materials up to 75 lbs
- Basic navigation and route planning skills; GPS proficiency
- Punctuality, reliability, and professional customer-facing demeanor
- Ability to work independently and manage a delivery route efficiently
Nice To Haves
- 1+ years of CDL driving, delivery, or logistics experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver materials and equipment to job sites and other destinations
- Verify delivery accuracy against delivery orders or pick tickets before departing the warehouse
- Obtain required signatures and document all deliveries upon completion
- Communicate delivery status, ETAs, and any issues to dispatch and job site contacts
- Inspect assigned vehicle daily and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly
- Load and unload the delivery vehicle safely and efficiently with proper material handling techniques
- Return undelivered items, cores, empty containers, and returned materials to the warehouse
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professionally presented delivery vehicle at all times
- Follow all applicable traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company vehicle policies
- Assist with warehouse tasks and staging when not actively on delivery routes
- Other duties as assigned by management.
