About The Position

Flex-N-Gate Logistics is hiring CDL drivers to support its manufacturing facilities by transporting materials and supplies safely and on time. The work is regional with dedicated lanes. Over-the-road (OTR) positions require layovers and may involve being on the road for several days at a time. Dedicated shuttle positions are home daily. Drivers may also temporarily fill in for other driving positions, including shuttle, OTR, and spotter roles.

Requirements

• Excellent safety driving record.
• Current commercial driver's license (CDL).
• Current DOT medical card.
• OTR drivers must be willing to be on the road for several days at a time when needed.

Nice To Haves

• At least 2 years of verifiable experience; experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maneuver tractor-trailers safely and accurately in and out of docks and drop lots.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete the provided documentation.
• Deliver in a timely manner, as assessed by the dispatcher or supervisor.
• Understand and operate the on-board computer system.
• Work the hours necessary to achieve company goals.
• Observe safety and security procedures and report potentially unsafe conditions.
• Demonstrate attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness, and meet productivity standards.
• Show respect and sensitivity for cultural differences and promote a harassment-free environment.
• Perform other assigned responsibilities needed to support company operations, including temporary coverage for shuttle, OTR, or spotter driving positions.
