The Shag Driver will drive a shag truck, pulling and backing 48 and 53-foot trailers. This role requires compliance with all relevant regulations, safe operation of the truck, and maintaining a safe working environment. The driver will also be responsible for spotting trailers, using electronic equipment for communication, physically washing out trailers, maintaining reports, setting reefer units, following directions, assisting the traffic office, maintaining truck cleanliness and maintenance logs, performing equipment inspections, monitoring the truck parking lot, and communicating issues with vendor trailers.
