About The Position

Shag Drivers will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling of Tyson shag trucks and our customer’s trailers, following all plant policies and procedures. They will keep the shag truck clean at all times. This position is for B shift and the facility runs up to 6 days a week, Monday through Saturday. All job offers are based on the conditions that the candidate can provide proof of authorization to work legally in the United States and pass a urinalysis screening, which is part of the post-offer health assessment. Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson have a 180-day rehire waiting period and a 3-time rehire limit.

Requirements

Dependable, works well with others, self-motivated.
Willing to come in early and stay late when necessary.
High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
Minimum of 6 months experience driving heavy equipment or trucks preferred.
Must have a valid driver’s license (Motor Vehicle Record will be reviewed).
At least 18 years of age.
No DWI or DUIs in the last 12 months.
Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Proof of authorization to work legally in the United States.
Pass a urinalysis screening.

Nice To Haves

Prefer high school graduate or equivalent.
A minimum of 6 months experience driving heavy equipment or trucks is preferred.
