Requirements

Valid Class A or Class B CDL with a clean driving record and current DOT Medical Card
A minimum of nine years of total driving experience and 2 years of experience with a CDL.
Strong understanding of DOT regulations, safety standards, and defensive driving practices
Ability to safely operate roll-off trucks and related equipment, including hook lifts, hydraulic systems, and automatic tarping systems
Strong attention to detail with the ability to complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections accurately
Excellent time management, communication, and problem-solving skills
Comfortable using GPS, dispatching applications, and electronic logging systems
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to lift up to 50-75 pounds and work in varying outdoor weather conditions
Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, and background check

Responsibilities

Safely operate roll-off trucks to deliver, pick up, and transport 10-40 yard containers
Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs
Secure loads and operate hydraulic and auto-tarp systems
Ensure proper and safe placement of containers at residential, commercial, and industrial sites
Maintain compliance with all DOT and local safety regulations
Communicate effectively with dispatch to stay on schedule and respond to route changes
Accurately complete required documentation, such as logs, delivery records, and weight tickets
Provide professional, courteous service to customers and represent the company positively on-site
Maintain a clean, safe vehicle and follow all company safety protocols
Navigate assigned routes efficiently using GPS and dispatch instructions
Other duties as assigned.
