The CDL Truck Driver operates heavy-duty roll-off trucks to prepare, load, and transport large mobile open-top and compactor containers from customer locations to disposal, transfer, or recycling facilities. The role involves navigating driveways, alleyways, lots, high-traffic roadways, and potentially tight overhead environments on industrial routes; skilled backing is essential. Drivers follow assigned routes, provide customer pickup service, and leave customer locations clean and free of debris. Drivers operate in accordance with WM safety rules, OSHA and DOT requirements, and applicable laws. They perform and document vehicle inspections, report unsafe conditions and service issues, communicate customer requests and route interruptions, attend required training and meetings, and complete end-of-day documentation. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring compliance with safety protocols and potentially pre-employment, post-incident, reasonable-suspicion, and random drug and alcohol testing. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday with a 6:15 a.m. start time. The position is on-site, with expected base pay of $27.50, DOE. The specific offer may depend on experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
