About The Position

Drivers operate heavy-duty trucks with load-lift attachments and transport materials to disposal, transfer, or recycling facilities. Roll-off drivers prepare, load, and transport large mobile open-top and compactor containers from customer locations. The work involves navigating driveways, alleyways, lots, congested roadways, and, on industrial routes, potentially tight overhead environments. Skilled backing maneuvers are essential. Drivers provide customer container pickup service and may need to maneuver wheeled containers weighing more than 1,000 pounds to a pickup area. This is a safety-sensitive role. Drivers must follow company, OSHA, DOT, and applicable local, state, and federal rules and protocols. The successful candidate may be subject to drug and alcohol testing as an ongoing employment requirement, including pre-employment, post-incident, reasonable-suspicion, and random testing.
