About The Position
Major Carrier is seeking a Class A CDL driver for a local dedicated intermodal position. Drivers will be responsible for picking up and dropping off containers along the railways throughout NJ, NY, PA, CT, and MA. This position offers home daily, day cab, slip seat, and drop & hook. Freight is no-touch. Drivers can expect 10-12 hour shifts, either day or night. The pay structure includes load pay and CPM pay, with an average weekly earning of $1300-$1500. This is a W2 position with benefits.
Requirements
- Class A CDL.
- No incidents within the past year.
- CDL address must match hiring area.
- 6 months of 53' tractor-trailer experience within the last year required.
- No termination from a previous driving job.
- No SAP drivers.
- Must pass a hair follicle drug screening.
Nice To Haves
- Trainee positions may be available for those with less than 6 months of experience.
Responsibilities
