The role involves approximately 1,700 to 2,000 miles per week, mostly drop-and-hook freight. Drivers are home every two weeks, often sooner. Average weekly gross pay is $1,100 to $1,400, with mileage pay that grows with experience, $15 stop pay, and a performance bonus. Orientation pay is $300, and orientation travel is covered.
