This opportunity is for new CDL holders to begin driving East Coast dry van freight with paid, on-the-road training from an experienced driver trainer. Training lasts 4 to 6 weeks and pays $850 per week. After being signed off, drivers receive their own truck and a guaranteed $1,000 per week for three months after their first solo dispatch. After training, drivers haul dry van loads along the eastern seaboard, with no routes west of the Mississippi. Drivers are home every two weeks and average around 2,500 miles per week; most loads are drop and hook. Compensation includes an average weekly gross of $1,200 to $1,500, a starting rate of $0.55 per mile that increases by $0.01 each year up to $0.65, $15 stop pay, and a performance bonus. Health, dental, and vision insurance begin after 30 days. The role also includes a 401(k) with company match, paid time off, $300 orientation pay, and covered orientation travel. Applicants must have a Class A CDL, meet the age and driving-record requirements, and pass hair and urine drug testing.
