The Field Technician role involves hands-on environmental remediation, waste management, and industrial maintenance tasks, working collaboratively with all levels of the company.

Requirements

  • Possession of a current CDL.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to retain and apply new field operation skills.
  • Quick learner who can easily master new principles/techniques and integrate them into daily work.
  • Self-motivated with a strong internal work ethic.
  • Passionate about working safely and able to follow strict safety protocols.
  • Able to pass an initial and regular drug/alcohol testing.
  • Clean criminal background.
  • Clean DMV driving record.
  • Physically capable of lifting a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Willing to travel for out-of-state projects (100% company-paid expenses).
  • Willing to work long hours/overtime when a project demands it.

Responsibilities

  • Execute safe and compliant waste packaging, labeling, and securing of hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials for transport on truck and trailers.
  • Work with key subcontractors for project execution and the transport materials, equipment, and waste to and from project sites in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Conduct technical radiological surveys with hand-held equipment after completing training.
  • Capture collected data (written/ipad), collect material samples (soil, water, and waste), take notes, pictures, and document general site observations for site characterization.
  • Perform manual labor for oil & gas facility maintenance, including vessel filter swap-outs, deep cleaning of equipment, packaging/sampling waste, and collecting documentation.
  • Execute tank pump-outs with hand-tools and industrial equipment, perform confined space entry and cleanings, and support specialized pipeline integrity tool cleaning operations (pigging).
  • Perform manual labor and equipment operation (training provided) to rebuild, line, and restore environmental containment ponds, as well as hands-on site demolition and decommissioning.
  • Maintain, clean, and service company equipment to ensure field readiness.
  • Keep the warehouse organized, safe, and efficiently structured.
