About The Position

Veolia/Clean Earth is hiring CDL A and CDL B drivers to travel to locations along assigned routes and pack, transport, and properly dispose of waste materials in accordance with environmentally responsible policies and procedures. CDL A routes may require up to four overnight stays per week. CDL B routes require four overnights and some weekend work. Hotel expenses and a daily stipend or per diem for food and other expenses are provided. Drivers must maintain accurate records, follow instructions, and work independently after receiving proper training. A company card is provided for CDL B hotel expenses.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Class A CDL for the CDL A role or valid Class B CDL for the CDL B role.
• Understand, read, and write English; CDL A candidates must be fluent in English verbally and in writing.
• Pass a DOT physical, drug test, and DEA background check.
• For CDL B: basic knowledge of Windows-based software such as Word and Excel.
• For CDL B: ability to repeatedly lift and carry up to 75 pounds and to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• For CDL B: willingness and ability to wear company-provided personal protective equipment, including eye protection, foot protection, Tyvek coveralls, and a respirator as needed.

Nice To Haves

• CDL A: TWIC Card, Tanker endorsement, and Hazmat endorsement.
• CDL B: Hazmat endorsement; candidates are expected to obtain it after hire as a condition of employment.
• CDL B: Valid TWIC Card.
• CDL B: At least one year of route driving experience.
• CDL B: Knowledge of hazardous materials and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities
